A Nice Treat!

If there is one thing that I can't stand, it's the cold weather.  We actually felt the wrath of mother nature, when she decided to dump a few inches of snow across NY in October a couple of weekends ago.  I'm not just talking about upstate NY either, I'm referring to snow in NYC!  I couldn't believe it!  I've been dreading the cold, since the Summer ended.  So, it was a bit unsettling when we got an early taste of Winter.

But, things have turned around this week.  The man upstairs decided to give us a nice treat.  With highs climbing near 70 degrees, I had to try and enjoy the day some how.  I even flirted with the idea of calling out, but I could never do that.  Hey, I need all the days I can get!  It's flu season!  

Instead, we squeezed in some play time before jetting off to work.  

Unfortunately, these nice temps won't last too long.  The holidays are not too far away which means ol' man winter is just around the corner.  Soon there'll be more snow on the ground.
