How Much You've Grown

Every time I look at my beautiful little Princess, I feel like a proud mama.  She's 15 month now.  It's funny how much she's grown.  Within the past few weeks I've noticed how much her hair is beginning to fill in.  I have a theory that her mane mostly sprouts at night.  I can tell it bothers her because she can't stop scratching in her sleep.  You can even see marks on her scalp.  I know it's not hurting her, it's probably more annoying than anything.

Those barrettes I bought a while back are finally starting to come in handy.  Even though she likes to  pull them out, I still enjoy clipping them in.  I love that she tries to put them in herself.

Another thing I absolutely love about my little one is her fun personality.  If you tell her to make the funny face, she does this cute pouty thing with her mouth.  She's also addicted to "Your Baby Can Read," and already knows a lot of words and body parts.  Her teachers at daycare do a great job of helping her with that too.  Her favorite words so far are hi, bye bye, up, please (pronounced peeeese).  If you ever meet her she'd "hi" and "bye" you to death.  She says a bunch of other things that don't seem to make any sense to us, but it does to her.  I can tell she's a chatter box just like her mama!  

Princess also has a smile that makes us weak.  It gets her daddy and me every time.  But don't get it twisted, we're not push overs.  She can't always get her way with us, only sometimes. 

Princess does have a serious and inquisitive side too.  She always wants to know what's going on.  If there's someone mowing the lawn or making a delivery, she stops in her tracks.  There's so much to say about how far my baby girl has come along.  This post would never end and I don't want to bore you.  In the meantime, enjoy these pics.  I try to capture these precious moments every chance I get.  Some day she'll read this and know how special she is.
