Love the hair. It doesn't even look like a wig. I remember when i had a white room mate in college, she was so intrigued by my hair and how i did it. They really dont know or understand our hair because so many of us wear weave or get relaxers or braids.

You are ADORABLE! As strange as it sounds, I loved hearing your voice! I can tell that you are a professional and at ease in front of a camera. As far as hair goes, its interesting how issues arise because of your work and their standards of appearance {like you said, what can you expect, its tv!}... my friend is going through a transition back to natural and, although she is battling with some similar steps as you {she has a thinned/bald spot too}, being a SAHM means she isn't pressured to get into wigs or anything like that. She keeps her hair in simple protective styles most days. In any case, the wig looks great and not fake at all. It seriously helps that you are absolutely gorgeous... I hate that being a SAHM has meant my total lack of style these days. Ugh.

Thanks Nique! I get questions all the time! I love it! I don't mind being asked about my hair. As long as I'm not being mocked, it's all good!

It's totally worth it. Plus, it'll be a nice break. I'm always having to do my hair for work. It's too much on my hair. Are you going natural?

You totally should! Are you in NY? The place I went to is True Indian Hair. There a location in BK and another in NYC. Let me know?

Thanks Vanessa! I could only wish I could let it all hang out for work! I feel what your friend is going through. Even though she's a SAHM and can rock any style, I know it could be tough too. I know for me, it's made me super self conscious. Protective styles are the way to go. I wish I could rock 'em at work. Thanks so much for the compliment. As far as missing out on style because of being a SAHM, you can always dress up for fun. Whenever I'm on vacation, I get lazy and throw on whatever sticks. So, I know what you mean. lol

It's beautiful! And it looks quite natural. I've never worn a wig, but seeing how good that looks makes me consider it just a leeeetle bit :-) Happy journey!

Sorry for my ignorance. I'm still learning. Thanks Karen!

Haha! I now realize why so many women wear them. I no longer have to choose my hair over working out! It offers so much flexibility! The best thing is that I'm able to transition without having to sacrifice my hair.

The wig is lovely! It looks like your relaxed hair, which is what you want for your job, and it fits your face and personality perfectly.

Thanks so much! I was careful to choose something very similar to the current texture and length of my own hair

You look great, the video is so personal and full of life. When I started growing my locs, I did the same thing. It was easier to continue my job with my locs covered, so just remember to keep your natural hair well moisturized so the hair will not become brittle. The hardest part of protecting natural hair is keeping the ends from splitting. It was a pleasure being able to meet you at BlogHer.

Thanks! The fact that I wear a wig throughout the week has allowed my hair to grow. I've been moisturizing a lot- something I never cared about before. Your hair is so nice. How long did it take you to grow your locks to the length it is now?

Hey Stacy loving the new look and I know it's hard doing a transition. I'm a Product junky so I try many things before I get tired and cut my hair. I have been relaxer free for over a year but keep my hair cut short and curly, but this time I'm gonna do box braids with human hair and this time when I grow it out I will try not to cut it :) product of the minute right now is WEN. Shea Moisture is still my favorite and the product called "Curles" it smells yummy like cake frosting. I just hope these products continue to work wonders on my hair when it grows out as it defines my super curly hair.
