Shea Moisture Review
I came across Shea Moisture and had to give it a try. Check out my thoughts on this product line.
Shea Moisture is really good stuff! I used to swear by both the moisture milk and smoothie (the bottle and jar with the pink label, also $10 at Target) since it did wonders for my hair, but I eventually switched products because it was soooo coconutty. Not that that's a bad thing, but I got self-conscious after noticing that every time I passed through a room having just done my hair someone would eventually comment "Mmmm, something smells like the beach, do you smell that?"
I'm thinking of switching back though, since Garnier changed their leave-in formula and it is killing me. I get the feeling they added more cones to it, since my hair started getting dryer even though I didn't change my regimen at all. Now I'm yearning for my all-natural fix again. Shea moisture is totally the way to go!
Thanks Lillian! I hear great things about Garnier. I haven't used that line though. I think I'll be sticking with Shea Moisture. I don't mind the coconut smell at all. Hey, there could be worse things to smell like, right? lol Have you tried kinky curly?
I never bought that product bcuz rite now i cant afford it. Sometimes walgreens will have them for 2 for 1 and it will get sold out. I have heard mixed reviews on it but I haven't seen anyone buy all those products you to tested out. I see you were talking about your edges, you might want to think about using Dax pomade and tie your hair down until it dries. I posted the company's FB page on your wall. https://www.facebook.com/SheaMoisture ~RheapJoy
Hi - Love your site! I need to find out when you air in my area - I remember when you used to be on another channel a couple of years ago and I had wondered what had happened to you because you had such a great and cheerful personality during your spots. I'm surprised to know you are old enough to be married and have a child - I thought I didn't see you anymore because you went back to school or something. Glad to know you're still in the area.
Just to let you know, Shea Moisture Company had a booth/mini store at The Holday Shops at Bryant Park during the 2011/2012 Christmas holiday season. I don't know if they'll be doing it again this year 2012/2013 - but their set up had their full product line, and they were quite generous with providing samples. I think you'll enjoy checking out their products, if they set up the Bryant Park store again. They are also on Twitter as @SheaMoisture4u if you want to try to get them more directly.
Love the YouTube posts too, you definitely keep it real - Keep doing what you're doing!
