Quarterly Bitchfest

Every girl needs her time away.  My girls and I get together every few months for brunch to catch up.  It actually began as a going away dinner for me a few years ago.  But, we had so much fun that we decided to make it a tradition.

I've affectionately dubbed our get together as our quarterly bitchfest.  But, it's not like we bitch and moan about life.  It's quite the opposite.  We'd meet at a quaint spot in Manhattan and chat about career, relationships, families, etc.  For me, it's like therapy.  We encourage each other and offer advice.  We often times here about women bashing one another, especially in the work place.  Instead of spreading hate, we like to congratulate.  I'm so glad I have these two women in my life.

I love it that you call it the Quarterly bitchfest! Too fun! I have an annual retreat with some of my closest friends. We go away to the mountains for a weekend and do nothing but chat, watch chick flics, drink, and have an awesome time. Girlfriends are awesome!

Lol! Thanks Kat! Wow, a retreat in the mountains? That sounds great!! My friends and I used to do that back in the day. We'd go away for the weekend and just chill and watch chick flicks and chat. Would love to do that again.
